French Walnut Burl Casted Coffee Table 38"
A beautiful custom coffee table designed to capture the irregular shape of this rare Walnut Burl Slab. This world renowned Walnut was harvested in France from an underground root burl, dried, and shipped here to Canada. Sourcing this species of wood is nearly impossible. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with it.
Golden sapwood & sharp black streaks throughout its heartwood create a striking design nearly impossible to replicate. A large custom beveled edge aligns the beautiful side profile of this table back to the viewer’s eye. Over 20 litres of tinted clear epoxy have been poured into this cast. Custom powder coated “Flowyline Design” black legs have been selected to suit the round style of this table. All combining to create a functional piece of art.
