This unique Claro Walnut Burl table is a magnificent hand crafted piece of art, hand made to suit only the world’s finest spaces. Native to Northern California, the Claro Walnut tree. It has a subtle-but-gorgeous marbled color palette that's highly sought after. This particular "burl" slab is extremely rare. These growths which form in the roots, or off the side of a tree. Because the grain is twisted and interlocked, burl wood is extremely beautiful, dense, and resistant to splitting. Burls have become so valuable that poachers have even been known to cut them from the side of trees in national parks. This table is one of natures most precious gems & fits right in to most interior styles! Legs can be switched upon request.
